We founded Blennius S.C.A, which focuses on the design of public aquariums and the aquatic

fauna supply

2008

We began to apply our knowledge to aquaculture, forming part of the emerging sector in Spain

2012

We worked on the design of the Futuna Blue S.L facility, the first bluefin tuna (Thunnus thynnus) hatchery in Europe, achieving the first production of fingerlings in recirculated systems

2014

We launched a pilot production facility for sole (Solea senegalensis)

2016

As those responsible for the management of Futuna Blue, we completed the first production of Greater Amberjack (Seriola dumerili). We covered the entire cycle, from reproduction to fattening, in recirculated systems

2017

We joined NTT DATA and became their aquaculture engineering department

2020

We designed and built the first industrial Seriola dumerili Grow out facility in Spain, achieving the first production of this species on an industrial scale within a recirculated system.

2023

With the aim of focusing on engineering, we built ourselves independently from Blennius under the name of Iber Aquaculture.
